The Inquisitive Explorer

Travelling can be one of the most rewarding form of introspection. I love travelling around the country because there's so much to explore.

 I just love the feeling of collecting works of art. My 2nd summer destination was at Subic, Zambales. I've been there for so many times but this one is one of a kind. We had no plans at all. My friend just asked me if i wanted to go to Tagaytay but i suggested to go to Subic instead. Since it was unplanned, we met up at around 7 pm. With all the stop overs and all we arrived by around 11 or 12 pm. It took longer than expected since it was so dark and Ram can hardly see the road ( he brought his car). 

Plus the fact that we don't have any reservation. Before the said trip, i quickly browsed the net and check for possible accommodation. 






Luckily, i found some but it was really what we thought it was. We were all tired since we can't find what we're looking for. It was really hard if you don't have any reservation, we went back and forth and yet we still can't find what we want. No wifi, no broadband signal, no other resources to check on the other places. Good thing, Ram and I had been there so we decided to go to Barrio Barretto. We checked all the resorts one by one and unfortunately IT WAS ALL FULLY BOOKED. So we decided to go back to Johan's Resort. 





We got a Medium air conditioned room (beachfront) with 1 Queen size bed, good for two for only P1200 per night. (Sorry I wasn't able to take picture of our room since we are all tired ) But you may check the rates on their website.























 There are several activities that you can try, If I'm not mistaken we spent 1,000 php for snorkeling (1 hr) and Jetski is 3,000 php for 1 hr. You must try those activities because it's a lot of fun. I enjoyed every single minute of my stay at Johan's resort and focourse I love the view and water of subic. 









ISLAND HOPPING

















Travel Time usually takes 3.5 hours from Manila via Private vehicle but if you decide to take a bus, you can  ride a bus at Victory Liner bus station in  Cubao or Pasay going to Olongapo. From the terminal, you can taker the blue jeepney adjacent to the terminal to Barrio Barretto, then take a quick tricycle ride to  Baloy Beach and you'll see different resorts that fits your budget. Along the numerous resorts in Baloy Beach you will see Johan's Resort.  This may take 4-5 hours travel time.
