Morong, Bataan

Morong is a municipality of Bataan and subdivided into 5 barangays. Going back to history, Bataan is popular as one of the last stands of Filipino and American soldiers before they were overwhelmed by the Japanese forces in World War I.
I spent the weekend at Sunset View Resort in Morong Bataan.We took the route via NLEX and SCTex to SBMA Morong Gate. I must say, the resort is perfect for an intimate gathering.
Sunsetview Beach Resort
The resort is just a short distance from the Beach and it was so relaxing just sitting down on the sand while looking at the panoramic view of China Sea.
Our room is located on the 2nd floor of the resort with sliding glass doors through the balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the beachfront.Oh yes! a pool right across the beach!
| This is not my first time in Bataan, I've been here several months ago (Bagac, Bataan). I must say that Morong is way better than Bagac. I failed to find a decent bach in Bagac. Oh, i actually did but it was so expensive. Unlike in Morong, they have affordable good resorts. The sand is not like the one in Subic but the view and the cleanliness of the place makes the beach experience worth the travel time.
If you're staying in Sunsetview Resort, I have to remind you that the resort is located near the municipal hall and you really have to ask the locals because the resort is partly hidden along with the "view" resorts and there's no streamer or sign.
Sunsetview Resort is a well maintained resort and I'm very much satisfied with the cleanliness of the resort. We stayed in a Deluxe room with 3 beds, each bed is good for 2 people. I love the resort except for the food. The serving is too small and as expected, the prices of the goods are too high.(1.5 coke cost 100 php). The staffs were accommodating and everything else is satisfactory.

If you're heading here, I would like to give you some friendly reminders:
- Cooking is NOT allowed, if you want to bring chips and drinks. You may leave it in your car.
- There's no resort signboard, so feel free to ask. (ask atleast 3 people for an accurate answer)
- Drive safely, the curves are dangerous.
- This is located in a secluded area, so make sure you have enough cash.
- Sunblock please?? I forgot to apply sunblock, walked around for about 15 minutes and ended up with unpleasing tan line.
