I've been to CWC for several times but this is actually the first time that I'm gonna share my experience on this beautiful water sports park.Camsur Water Complex known as CWC is an 8-9 hours drive from Manila depending on the traffic situation (mostly in Quezon Area).

The six hectare complex is also a first world-class watersports complex in the Philippines and in Asia.
I must admit, that every corner is picturesque adding Mt. Isarog in your backdrop.

My sisters and I are definitely loving the vibe

Imagine a day just watching people do water sports while drinking a tropical shake under a Nipa hut. Wow! It was just so relaxing and I even stayed there for couple of hours doing nothing.

One of the main attraction is the Wakeboarding. It was created from a combination of water skiing, snow boarding and surfing techniques. Instead of using skis, the rider rides a single board with stationary non-release bindings for each foot, standing sideways. Wakeboarding, besides being one of the world’s fastest growing sports and is gradually being recognized globally, has become a lifestyle for others.

Yes, Lifestyle for others. Infact, tourist from different countries and even from all over the Philippines visits this place just for Wakeboarding. Foreigners are all over this place even with their own gears.

Didn't try wakeboarding because I'm too scared to fall off the water

For those who wants to experience Wakeboarding for the first time, don't worry because
they have a Wakeboarding area for beginners. There would be an instructor who will teach you the basics but you'll be with other beginners too (Take turns).

The actual Wakeboarding are for beginners

My Sister is ready to try Wakeboarding

You will be provided with helmet and vest and Dress code is not necessary. The day after they tried Wakeboarding, they felt intense pain on their arms which lasted for few days. Do not forget to warm up by yourself because the trainer won't ask you to do so.
If you're scared to try wakeboarding like me. You can opt to swim on their inviting swimming pool but mind you, there's no shade on the pool so when the sun is up, it is scorching hot and there's a separate payment for the pool.

The Nipa huts beside the pool area serves as the shade since there's no trees nearby. You can rent an open cabana for your exclusive use while watching the explicit beauty of the place.

The lovely Tiki Huts around the area

The massage area in an open Cabana

Feel more relaxed with their Massage for only 250 php per hour in an open Cabana or room service for 300 php per hour. Try it in the Cabana for an ultimate relaxation experience.

Let me clear the confusion here. Lago del Ray is still part of the park. It's an Aqua park with inflatables for fun Aqua experience.

The Clubhouse

If you're tired from all the activities, you may sit down and explore the many wonderful dishes and treats at their Clubhouse. They serve a wide variety of dishes (Korean, Western, Japanese and Filipino Dishes).
They also serve cold drinks, tropical shakes and Beers perfect for the heat.

The Basketball Area

The Cabins

For accommodation, they offer different types of lodging depending on the number of people.
For us, we got the Cabins that's absolutely perfect and homey. They provide clean and white sheets and pillows.

They offer room service too! So you can order your drinks and meal. One thing I didn't like about staying in the cabin is the distance from the main area. So if you want a short distance to the main area, I suggest you stay in the Tiki Hut which is located right across the Swimming pool.

The Christmas tree in Lago del ray reception area

Bookings are made through LAGO DEL RAY FRONT DESK which is from the other side of the main park. So if you're planning to book once you arrived, go directly to Lago del ray main office. Once you checked in, they will remind you to deposit your important belongings to the main park front desk whenever you go out of your lodging to make sure that your important belongings are safe.

I've never done that but I never lost any of my belongings. Kudos to their security!

THE VERDICT:

Overall, I'm satisfied with my 3 days and 2 nights experience in CWC. I love how they maintain the place and how they provide homey and peaceful environment. They gave justice to the much needed break I was longing for. Every corner is worth the camera click and this is one of the best place to spend your off-from work days. They also arrange package going to the famous Caramoan which I will definitely try on summer!

The only thing I wish they have is some sort of a transportation guests can use to roam around the park.
It's kinda difficult to walk around a 6 hectares property. Nevertheless, I'll keep on coming back on this place.
