The Inquisitive Explorer

I'm a kind of person who will plan everything (from the tickets to the hotel reservation) before heading to one place. The reason for that is because I want to make sure that I'm gonna get a "worth-spending" trip. This time, I failed. Due to excessive shopping and unexpected expenses when we were in Ilocos Sur. We changed our plans and just decided to explore real time.


 After 2 hours of travel time from Laoag City, we finally reached the haven of Northern Luzon. I must say that the travel time and expenses are worth it.





Saud Beach is one of the prettiest beaches I've ever seen. I love the view from the creamy white sand where you can also see the Windmills from afar. I love the relaxing ambiance, the sound of the birds singing that permeates the air, the waves and the sand, nothing else disturbs the tranquility














I couldn't helped myself so even though I was just waiting for them to finish packing their things, I tested the water and I was completely enticed by its beauty. Yes, you can compare the crystal clear water and creamy white sand to Boracay. No wonder why it's rated as one of the most beautiful beaches in the Philippines.




Away from the city lights, party nights and crowds, you will absolutely fall in love with Saud Beach. You won't even mind the travel time. I had one of the best experience in my entire travel life.



Overall, I highly recommend Saud Beach. I was tickled to death by it's ravishing beauty. Everything you see is close to perfection. So if you're looking for a white beach with less crowd, then you must visit Saud Beach.

You can ride a horse if you're tired of walking but we decided to walk so we can take pictures and took our time in looking each detail of everything we see which is absolutely breathtaking. It feels like I'm in a foreign country similar to Greece,I was overwhelmed the whole time.











I stepped on some parts that was melted and I was surprised because though the weather was scorching hot, the melted rock was not. I actually removed my slippers to avoid some slippery parts.
















I also learned that Lam-ang is an Ilocano Hero. You will see a statue of Lam-ang on your way to the main point. Lam-ang was an incredible being, at barely nine-months he went to search for his missing father and bravely fought from the battle with little effort avenging the death of his father. It was such a fun and educational tour.







I love the view of the shores, the rock transformation, the scenery, I love every details of the place. You will surely be proud that we have this kind of place that is comparable to foreign countries. Be sure to charge your phones and cameras before heading to this place because you will surely have a perfect cover photo on this place.
