 Where: Kabigan Falls
Location:  Barangay Balaoi, Pagudpud
Fee: 20 php for Entrance Fee
150 pfp for the Tour Guide

As part of our Pagudpud Tour, we decided to bring our restless feet in Kabigan Falls which is 1.8 km far from the National road. Upon Arrival, we paid 20 php for the entrance fee per person and 150 php for our tour guide.  We were told that have to walk 30 minutes from the jump off point. For a lazy woman like me plus the fact that I have a sprain on my right foot, it was a BIG CHALLENGE.

The challenge started when we started walking. We passed by a long stretch of  rice fields and streams on either side.Even though it was scorching hot, I didn't mind because of the lovely greenery scenery. Take a lot at the pictures on what you will see before reaching the Falls. I guess, this is what Trekking means.

I admit, it was really tough and tiring for me. I had to give myself multiple times of rest. Maybe, because I'm not into trekking and I'm a really lazy person . Considering all the factors, I tried my very best not to give up and how can you give up if you see majestic mountain view, small flowing  river,  log bridges and farming fields everywhere.

Some people can reach the falls roughly around 20 minutes but we reached the falls around 40 minutes of walking but it was worth it! The view blew us away.

The rocks were kinda slippery so be careful. The water was so cold and refreshing. There are some foreigners in the area and they really enjoyed the water.

The water wasn't really deep so you don't have to worry. You will love the water for sure.

My overall experience was good. It requires a lot of effort to reach the falls but In all fairness, it was worth it. There are vendors in the area so you can take a quick stop over for some refreshing drinks. If you are a nature lover, you will love this place so much.

Quick Reminder:

1. Be Back From Your Tour Before Dark

    - You don't want to end up trekking in darkness. The best time to go here is during morning.

2. Wear flip flops or water shoes

   - I swear, it will be a walkathon so just be in your most comfortable get up.

3. Bring water and snacks

   - Keep yourself Hydrated and have something to eat because after the long walking distance, you'll surely be hungry.

Let's also help our locals by sharing your food and drinks too. I heard stories from our tour guide and it was really heart melting. You may want to add small amount of tip to make them happy. It's not bad to share your blessings!
