Dampalitan Island is one of the unspoiled beaches located in Padre Burgos, Quezon. My friend has a house in Quezon so we dropped by and  cooked our food. It took us 5 hours to reach Quezon because we had several stop over. Usually it will just take 3-4 hours to reach the province of Quezon.

We had our own van and drop off point was at "aplaya" or the Padre Burgos  Tourism. We registered and paid for the boat ride. You have an option to choose between Dampalitan, Borawan or Puting Buhangin. We choose them all and paid 1,800 php for the 2 way boat ride plus 35 php for the entrance fee per person. This is where we parked our van too.

We took a 15 minutes boat ride and this is what welcomed us. A calm and relaxing beach. It was worth the travel time! This is perfect for ecological appreciation.

The water wasn't crystal clear, it's just a regular sea water for me. Nonetheless, you will enjoy the peaceful environment and the waves of the calm sea. Wear your swimsuits because it's a secluded island and there's only few people in the area so you can flaunt your not so beach body like mine. :)

I had to post my colorful nails :)

One of the thousand reasons why I want to stay in an island is because you get to bond with your friends in a different way. You prepare your own food, sleep out of your comfortable beds and talk non stop while drinking as you watch the waves. These are the things that we always do while on an island.

To feel the island vibes, we grilled eggplants and pork while drinking alcohol.

We rented a cottage but everyone wanted to sleep on the hammocks while staring at the stars in the sky

.
This is the best picture i captured. Most of us want to live in a peaceful surroundings but that is a little difficult to find. When you're in an island, it's possible.

Jancy and the sunrise as her backdrop

We woke up early int he morning to catch the sun rise. The place is still inviting and serene as we explore the whole island.

On the other side of the island filled with rocks, you'll also see different sea creatures like sea orchins.

Overall, I enjoyed my trip to Dampalitan Island. This is what i consider as simple beauty. The view may not be striking but I love the unspoiled beauty of the island. If you're looking for some quiet time, this is the place that you have to see. The place is good for camping and if you love to read books, you can just sit on the hammocks all day.

Note:   The photos may not be beautiful in your eyes and that is because I practice honesty on my blog. I'm not exaggerating the pictures so you won't be disappointed on what you will see once you visited the place i recommended. I may edit some pictures but again, what you see is what you get.
