Bangkok, Thailand
8:53 AM
Trivia: Bangkok is the capital city of Thailand with a population of over 8 million.
It's known for crazy shopping deals and affordable local dishes.
Where I've been: What pho, Asiatique, MBK mall, David Thompson House
Days Spent: 3 days, 2 nights
Where I stayed: Panini Residence
We flew from Singapore to Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok. I was so happy that our hotel is near the airport which is around 10-15 mins. I was surprised to find out that Suvarnabhumi is outside Bangkok and you need to pay around 600 BAHT (one way) to reach Bangkok or the hassle of
riding a train called Airport Link. So might as well book a flight to Don Meung airport which
is near the heart of Bangkok.
Our day started with a hearty Lunch meal at a restaurant outside our hotel which serves an authentic and delicious Pad Thai. After our substantial meal we had a few hours of rest and started our tour at 3pm.
ITINERARY
I must say I planned this trip very well but because of the climate in Thailand, I wanted to
get rid of the sun as it was scorching hot and that's something that my body cannot tolerate at all.
However, despite the heat we continued with some of our plans.

There's a lot of places to explore in Bangkok. Your tummies will be filled with lots of good and affordable Thai food. Prepare your pocket money if you'd like to buy souvenirs. It is pretty hot in Thailand so bringing a water with you is a must. I spent most of my days shopping and eating but I enjoyed every bit of it.
